In 2016, Tuvalu issued gold and silver coins honoring those lost in the Attack on Pearl Harbor. This was a joint effort for the 75th anniversary of the event and some of the funds from the initial sales were put towards a memorial. This 1/10 oz. coin is made of .9999 fine gold and was struck at Australia's Perth Mint.

The obverse shows an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This portrait of Her Majesty was created by Ian Rank-Broadley. The inZions on this side state the date of issue, weight, fineness, and face value.
The Mint mark is on the reverse. This side features 2 Japanese planes in flight. Below them, several US ships can be seen. The anniversary is also inscribed here.
Graded Mint State 70 by NGC
This 1/10 oz. gold coin was graded by the team of experts at the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). They use a grading scale with a maximum of 70. Since no flaws could be found on this coin, it was awarded a perfect Mint State 70 grade.
